Are there really legitimate Internet business opportunities? When I first told my friends and family I was going to make some extra money on the Internet, they said that it was just a scam. Then when I told them I had already gotten paid everything changed. All the sudden, it went from I was being scammed to wow that is really neat. Some even asked how they could get involved.

 

How to find a legitimate Internet opportunity is my most frequently asked question. The answer is both simple and complex at once because it really depends on the person and their background. For some of my college friends I tell them they need to get involved in freelance writing. You see, I have a background in journalism and education. So many of my college friends also have a background in journalism and would make excellent writers.

 

Other people I direct to Internet marketing. I know some sales people who simply rock at marketing, and when I mentioned Internet marketing and pointed them in the right direction they just took off. They make it look so easy and tell me it is. I am not too interested in it as I am happy writing and teaching, but to each their own, right? Of course, they make tons more money than I do, so maybe one day I will change my mind.

 

The bottom line is this: Whatever it is you do in the real world, you can probably do online if you just look. Just like the real world, there are businesses online that make more than others. The best way to make money on the Internet is to learn from someone who has already made money online. Normally, this means you have to sign up by giving them your e-mail address and follow some instructions. Then they teach you what to do and you go from there. The money is out there. You just have to find it.
